Our History: Where it all began The Joint Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce (AICC) was established through a Special Resolution passed at its first board meeting held on 12th May 1987. The AICC was established under the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for the Arab Countries. The Minister for Health at the time, Dr. Rory O’Hanlon TD, delivered the opening address on behalf of the Irish Government and spoke of the growing connections between Ireland and the Arab countries, and the great prospects for expanding these in the future. Fast-forward almost three and a half decades, and the significance of the Arab Markets continues to grow. And the AICC continues to support the growth and development of trade and commercial relations between Ireland and the Arab countries. Legal and Regulatory documents require authentication by the Dept Foreign Affairs The manufacturing and expiry dates must appear either on the Cert of Origin or invoice Every invoice must be accompanied by a separate Arab Irish Certificate of Origin. Alternatively, if one consignment is covered by more than one invoice, a signed summary invoice referring to all the individual invoices must be used. The individual details of each invoice (invoice number and value) must be stated on the summary invoice which must also show total value and currency.
