30th June 2026.

The Arab Irish Chamber of Commerce was delighted to host 'Doing Business in a Time of Geopolitical Uncertainty,' bringing together exporters, policymakers and business leaders to explore how Irish companies can navigate an increasingly complex global trading environment.

The discussion reinforced that while supply chains, logistics and market conditions continue to evolve, demand for Irish goods remains resilient across key Gulf markets. Success will depend on strong partnerships, informed market strategies and a long-term commitment to the region.

A sincere thanks to our keynote speaker, Martin O’Brien, Head of Monetary Division at the Central Bank of Ireland; panellists Anita Thomas, Country Manager Ireland at Emirates, Jim Healy, CEO of NuLumenTek®, entrepreneur Michael Connolly, Desmond Hurley of Lakeland Dairies, and Edward O' Regan of Blackwater Partners; and today's moderator, Dave Burke of BUSINESS PLUS Talks.

The event featured perspectives from business leaders across finance, manufacturing, agriculture and international trade, highlighting that resilience, adaptability and trusted relationships remain the foundations of sustainable export success. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to an excellent discussion.
