Important Notice to Exporters

The Arab Irish Chamber of Commerce (AICC) has recently become aware that some exporting companies are redirecting or routing their goods through third countries before reaching their final destination.
While this may be necessary in certain circumstances, exporters must ensure that the correct procedures and documentation are followed when goods are redirected through another country.
Exporters are reminded to ensure that:
• The Certificate of Origin accurately reflects the true origin of the goods.
• Any trans-shipment, re-export, or transit arrangements are properly documented.
• All documentation submitted for certification complies with the requirements of the destination country.
Failure to follow the correct procedures may result in delays, rejection of documentation, or complications with customs authorities.
The AICC encourages exporters to ensure full compliance when redirecting goods through third countries. If guidance is required, please contact the AICC certification team.
